"For the chickadee mask, we're going to need some yellow fun foam, a little bit of orange fun foam, a little bit of yellow boa, some elastic for the back, some of that good sticky double stick foam tape and a little electric tape or some soft tape to cover the staples and a stapler. So, to make the chickadee mask, here's our base mask. You want to make the nose opening a little more narrow and bring the foam down a little bit more under and then round off the top here like this. Now for the beak of the chickadee, you're going to make sort of a diamond shaped piece and we're going to stick it on the edge of the mask here and then that will make the mask stick out a little bit more. So let me show you. We're using the good, strong double stick foam tape and I'm just slicing a very small piece just to put along the edge. Put it on tightly. We're going to cut three little pieces. This is very sticky and it sticks well to the fun foam and then remove the other side of the covering. And I'll put a little bit also up on top like that. And then you attach the beak by placing it on the foam tape there and then bend the mask a bit and tape this one and that gives you a beak that sticks out a little."
