"Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. The stitch that we're going to use is just going to be a whip stitch and very similar to how we put the dots on. You just go around the doggy. You want taut, but not so tight that it makes the fabric bunch. You're going to put those stitches about somewhere between 1/4 or 1/8 inch apart. No more than 1/4 inch. You can make them as tight together or as far apart as you want, but you don't want it more than a 1/4 inch because the stuffing will show through. You want to be able to sew that together and have the stuffing not come through. Just go all the way around following the contours of the dog. When you come to the corner just turn the corner and keep going . If you don't like the way the thread goes you can shift it over a little. We're just going to continue all the way around the dog. We're almost finished here. We're getting down to where we marked with the pin to stop. Continue our last few stitches and then we'll make a knot. One more. We're right by the pin now. Just pull the pin out. When you come around through the back, open up at the leg section there and put the needle so it's on the inside. So it came around, it went in through the back and we're on the inside now. Just catch a little bit of fabric or thread. There's the loop and there's the other loop and there's our end knot. Next, I'm going to show you how to sew the bottom leg section. "
