"Hi everybody, my name is J and I'm talking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to pick a cucumber should have a green color all the way. If you see a light yellow spot like this one it's kind of like your watermelon, it's been sitting on that side and ripening at the grocery store. Which the yellow is actually a good thing. You want to make sure that it's nice and firm all the way around. You want to make sure that it's nice and slender. You want to make sure that there's no type of bruising or dents on your cucumber. You want to store your cucumber inside your refrigerator. These should stay good for as long as a week, a week and a half. Basically that's it, cucumbers should not have a smell to them. Basically you want to look for a nice green surface area, no bruising, no dents, maybe a yellow stripe to where its been sitting and you should have yourself a good cucumber. Trust your instincts guys, thank you."
