"Hi everybody, my name is J and I'm talking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Now I'm going teach you how to pick your lemons at your local grocery store. First of all you want to look at your lemon obviously and make sure that it's a nice bright color like this one is. If it's not then don't get it. You want to make sure that the skin has a slight push to it all the way around. You want to make sure that it is very, very tender, that means there's juice in there. You want to avoid the lemons that are shriveled or brown or have any type of bruising or any type of dysfunction to the skin. I'm going to show you a bad example of a lemon, which is this one which has brown all over the skin, it has a deformation in the skin and there's a few bruised spots on this lemon. So you want to avoid that. You can basically tell the difference on a bad lemon and a good lemon pretty easy. You also can smell your lemon and make sure it has that nice vibrant lemony smell to it and it does. So, make sure there's a nice slight push, it's bright in color, there's no bruising or scaring around the skin and make sure it has a nice bright lemony smell to it. You want to store your lemons in a dry place, not inside of your refrigerator. Before you cut these you can press and roll on them on your counter and you should yield more juice. That is it for your lemons, I hope you have a good time picking at your grocery store, thank you have a good day."
