"Hi everybody, my name is J and I'm talking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm talking about produce and I'm going to teach you how to pick your cilantro in this segment. Cilantro is a beautiful thing, as you can see first of all color, you want it to be nice and bright green. When you look at it at the grocery store don't just look at the outside you want to also look in the inside of your cilantro and make sure that none of the cilantro is a bright yellow color. You want there to be a bright green color all the way around. You want to stems to be all green and you want to smell your cilantro and make sure that it has a nice herb flavor to it. Mmm and it does, it has a nice herb smell. You definitely don't want your cilantro to be very, very wet at your local grocery store. You don't want it to be like dripping in water and wilted, you want it to be nice and if you hold it by the stem you want all of them to stand up like this one you don't want them to droop down. Basically storing your cilantro when you get home you could wash it. Once you wash all the stuff of your cilantro you can get a paper towel like I do with this one and roll your cilantro in it after you've washed it. You can store it in your bag just like this and it will last you a lot longer than you would if did not put that paper towel around it, because that paper towel is going to take all the moisture out of there which creates mold. And that is it on picking your cilantro at your local grocery store, thank you."
