"Hi, I'm Jennifer Cononico and we are back with Expert Village on our lesson on learning how to type. Now we are going to move on to the numerical pad. The ten key pad just imagine this says a calculator. This is your number lock and when you press this on the keyboard, you can use all these numbers and all of these different keys. If it's not pressed, then you can not use any of these keys and you can be pressing buttons and nothing showing up. Because you don't have your number lock pushed, so we'll begin by pressing our number lock. Over here is your back slash or division. Here is your asterisk or you multiplication, your subtraction, and your addition. Your enter or return, your period or also delete button if you made a mistake. This number 3 is your page down, and this will move you to the bottom of your page. Your page up will take you back to the top of the page same with these 2 arrows. This is your home button and your end button. Your zero or insertion button is if you want to add a space or insertion. So we'll begin with our 3 fingers on our right hand your thumb is going to be used for your zero. Lets begin with 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 thumb is zero. We'll go backwards 3 2 1 6 5 4 9 8 7 thumb is zero. Now we can use our period we'll use our ring finger for the period, pinky finger to hit enter. Stretch your ring finger for addition. Use your pinky finger for subtraction. We are going to move up to the top line use your ring finger for multiplication. Your middle finger for your division. Stay away from the number lock unless you want to turn it off. So let's use them all beginning now, 0 1 2 3 enter 4 5 6 add 7 8 9 subtract, multiply, divide, thumb zero."
