"Hi! I’m Jennifer on behalf of expertvillage.com. A Perfect Fit Alterations, 102 S. Main Street, Burleson, Texas, 817-447-3522. In this segment we’re going to talk about double-faced bias tape. This is a very useful tool, double-faced bias tape can be used for positioning zippers and trims so you don’t have to use pins. You would take the bias tape before you sew your zipper in, put it down the edge of your zipper, straight if you can manage it. It’s easy to tear, you don’t need scissors and then it has a backing that tears off, sometimes. You peel the backing away, then you’re going to position your fabric and it will hold your fabric in place as you sew along the edge of the zipper to install the zipper. That’s just one of the ways you would use your double-faced bias tape. "
