How to Finish Hemp Necklaces

"Hi! My name is Jessica and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to be teaching you how to make a hemp necklace. Once you've made your necklace and you've got it at the length that you want. Usually you can just determine that by just holding it around your neck, your wrist, or however long you want it. Estimate how long you want it. You're going to have to finish it off. You don't want to leave all the strings just dangling. There's a couple of ways to finish it. This first way, and this is just a demonstration, obviously. You always want to just tie it in a knot with all the strings. Just take all the strings, put them around your finger, and go through the hole. You're just going pull it tight. What you're going to do is you're going to leave about an inch or 2 of string. You're going to cut it off right here, and you're going to use these strings to tie it around this loop. That's probably the most simple way to do it. You don't have to worry about it coming off because you're just going to be tying it around it every time. You can take it off really easily. You don't have to worry about not being able to get it off. That's probably the most basic way. It's not going to come out of this knot and you'll have room to tie it."
