"Hi! My name is Jessica and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to be teaching you how to make a hemp necklace. Again, now we know that we're starting on the left side, so we're going to take that left string, bring it under the 2 middle strings, grab that right hand string, hold on to it, and bring that through. Then we're going to just pull it tight again. It's kind of tough to pull it tight, but just do the best you can. You're not going to notice it as much if it's not really tight with the thick hemp, but you do want to get it as tight as possible. I don't know how much you really want to do the spiral stitch in the thick hemp, because it is going to create a lot of bulk. When you're wearing the necklace, it might be a little bit too much. It might poke you in the neck a little bit. What I like to sometimes is just do the flat stitch for a couple of inches, then do a couple of spiral stitch just to add a little bit of emphasis to the necklace, a little bit of detail. I don't know if I'd do a whole thick hemp necklace with the spiral stitch, because it just seems like a little bit too much to me. If you like it, you can certainly do, try it out, and see how it feels when you're wearing it. Basically, that is it. You can see the spiral starting to form right there. That's how you do the spiral stitch with the thick hemp."
