How to Start Hemp Necklaces

"Hi my name is Jessica and behalf of Expert Village I'm going to be teaching you how to make a hemp necklace. Ok so once you have your two equal length pieces of hemp, you're going to start your necklace. And to start it you're going to basically determine how long you want your necklace to be again and that's you're folding it over and if you want it to be say, say this long. You're going to make it about double the length that you want your necklace to be. So that was about how long it was and I'm going to, it doesn't have to be exact, I'm going to do it about there. So we're going to have this much hemp to be making your necklace on and you're going to fold it over and until you have this little loop and you've got your long string and your short string and you're going to want to just take it and tie it in a knot. So you're going to tie both strings in a knot and this is going to be forming the end of your necklace and you're just going to pull it through and you want to pull it pretty tight. And so that's going to be the end of your necklace and then you're going to start working on it right behind the knot right there."
