Types of Hemp Necklace Beads

"Hi my name is Jessica and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to be teaching how to make a hemp necklace. Ok so now I'm going to talk a little bit about the beads that you can use for your hemp necklace. There not required you can just make a just a plain hemp necklace but most people like to embellish them a little bit with some beads. And so you can get beads at most any craft store again and usually there going to be on kind of a jewelry section of the craft store. So I'm just going to show you just a couple of different types, they come in these little metal round ones, this ones really nice it's a it's going to dangle down from your necklace so that's going to be really cute. And these long ones I like because it's going to add a lot of length to your necklace so you can actually when your deciding how much hemp you need to make the necklace your going to do a little bit less because it's going to be , you know, a lot of the bead and less of the hemp. These ones are for larger or thicker hemps and I'm going to talk about that in just a second but and here's some other ones, just some little plastic ones and it's really about personal taste which ever you like best, what you want your necklace to look like. One thing though that I do want to caution you against is getting beads that don't have holes that are big enough. If you look at these ones you can see that the hole in them is really tiny and you actually have to be able to get two threads of hemp through there and unless your using a really tiny hemp it's probably not going to work and it's probably going to be pretty hard. These are really more for making necklaces out of a metal like a little wire. So you want to make sure that your getting something with a big enough hole for the hemp that your using. Something like this would be good for a thicker hemp as you can kind of see here this is very similar. But you wouldn't be able to get through this size hole for example so you really have to, you know, keep that in mind when your buying beads. Don't just buy the prettiest beads that you see make sure you that the hole is going to be big enough. Like for example these ones your going to have to use a smaller hemp or a medium size in order to get it through that hole. So just that's just something to keep in mind when your buying your beads and your hemp. It's good to buy them together almost so you can you can take a look and kind of see what your going to be using and what kind of beads you want that are going to fit the hemp you are using."
