"On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Jim Dufresne. I'm here to tell you about acoustic guitar amplification. Some of them have jacks that come out here. A lot of them have jacks that come out the end. I'll show you like this one right here, this one comes out at the end. And we'll talk about this classical guitar here in a minute. This particular model has a pre-amp that resides on the side of the guitar. I hope it doesn't make a noise when I take it out. See, it has a place to put the battery in, a 9 volt battery, it sits in a little case. A volume control, basic graphic EQ, battery check, you press that little button, if the light comes on; it means that your battery is doing pretty good. They come in varying grades. This is an average one, you'll see 0this a lot. They make higher end pre-amps. They'll make more expensive ones, there's ones made by Pendulum which are outboard of the guitar which sound fantastic!"
