Light Deep Tissue Swedish Massage

"Hello my name is Jinilee Reavis and I'm a massage therapist here at Veronika's Color Salon and Spa and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. Now with deep tissue a lot of people are like well I don't like deep tissue massage. Well with therapists you are in control with pressure. We start off light. With a deep tissue massage, we start off light and then we increase the pressure. When you say that is enough we would keep it at that pressure to where we are still able to stretch the muscle, work it out but with you being in total control and not feeling tensed up. Because that is what happens a lot of time is when you stay deep tissue massage and you want to have the problem solved. They just go in there (excuse me)they just go in there and really knead it out and then you are sitting in there crunching. That is not good. Then your muscles tighten up even more. So what you want to do is just tell the therapist I would like this area to be worked out. I want deep tissue but let's start off with a light pressure and then work towards it. So you are in control of it and you get the problem fixed. With you being in a piece of mind and not sitting here clinching the whole time. "
