"Hello on behalf of Expert Village, my name is Joe. I own the "The Vug" local jeweler in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was just going to show a few of the files that I use on my jewelry. Basic big flat file here which I use in many different ways. I use it on the outside of ring shanks, also on the side, maybe if I need to do a flat edge. Usually when filing, I'll follow the surface with a flat file so I don't get a flat mark. My rounded file mainly I use on the inside of rings to just file or maybe reshape or bevel an edge or something. Great file. I use both of these quite often. Other files are many files which you can pick up in hardware stores. Obviously, these are kind of rusty. I don't use these very much because I really use my dremel tool or my flex shaft for more of my filing. But these are great. Sometimes on wax work, or very delicate pieces that I?m doing. But for the most part you can get most of it done using your dremel and other tools."
