"Hi I'm Jason. Today I'm shooting on behalf of Expert Village.com. Were making a beaded necklace out of recyclable materials that I just found laying around or somebody gave to me. We got the charm, we've got the beads that we've smoothed the edges and painted black, well actually marked black, smoothed the edges on the charm, we've measured the wire. Now the reason why I chose this wire is because it's got a copper piece in the middle so it's really flexible with the plastic on the outside. It will keep it from breaking pretty much indefinitely and if you get in the shower it won't corrode. Once this necklace is on, if you want to keep it can stay on and this wire will not go anywhere. Before we can start stringing it all together and tying knots and all that to keep it together, were just going to quickly just put everything on just to make sure that it's all going to fit and we like it. So let's take the beads that we put on or we will put the beads on again and this part can be a little bit tricky. You want to really just leave a really small gap in between your fingers and the bead and just push the bead and the wire simultaneously so you don't bend the wire. Once the wire is bent it's really hard to stuff through a small hole. So we've got one, this will go for one side, the charm goes next. See and it goes through the top hole. If this doesn't stay level, we'll need to make a hoop for it, so that's part of the reason why were going to check it out first and then finally we'll add the last bead. Now remember when you glue these together you need to make sure you put the safety pin through so that the wire will still come through. So this is basically what our necklace will end up looking like. We can add more beads if we want, we can take some away. Next we will assemble the ends of the wire so we can do the necklace up and undo it."
