Series Summary

Mankind’s love of fishing dates back over 10,000 years. While many innovations have been made in materials used to make rods, spinner rods with complex features and so forth, the basic principle has stayed the same: Rod, line, hook & bait. While other methods of catching fish are used to harvest large amounts for food supply, the sportsman takes up the challenge armed with nothing more than a rod and reel, and perhaps a little patience.

"Hi I'm John and I'm with expertvillage.com talking about fishing. I'm stringing a spinner wheel with 12 pound test gain line. What I did is I put the spool straight up and down and I tied it. As you string it you want to make sure you get the right amount of line on here and they way you can tell is by right here you can you don't want to get passed your bell. You just want to stay right inside of it so you want about that much line on your spool and as you have, as you get more and more you can catch further with it. "
