" Hello this is Jenny with simply beautiful crafts on behalf of expertvillage.com. When have been talking about different kinds of shadow boxes. I will like to show you a somewhat more traditional shadow box. As you may recall if you have seen some of the earlier clips this was a shadow box that I took apart because I have decided that I didn't like what was inside and decided to do something different with it. I'm making a shadow box I call gone fishing because it is going to sit this way and the back of my shadow box has hangers this way I'm going to need to add my own hanger here in the middle. Which I'm sure that you are familiar with a picture hanger so you want to measure that and put that in the middle before you begin constructing your shadow box. The next thing that I did was to take the back of my shadow box which is just plain card board and covered it with cork. This peels of and sticks right on so it was very handy. The next thing that I did with this was to take my fishing picture, cut it out with a pretty edge, and then I simple backed it with plain card board so I will have a 3-D effect. Then I took these fishing word very carefully because the hooks are sharp. I cut a straight pin in half put it into the cork board, and hung the fishing hooks on it. Then I hung one right there on the picture to. The next thing that I will do now is to put my backing into the shadow box secure it, and it is ready to hand. There you have gone fishing a traditional shadow box with a twist."
