How to Set Up the Magic Silk & Ball Trick

"So now we're going to learn how to set everything up before the trick. Okay. So the first thing that goes into the hat will be these two. Okay. Now just so that you know. The way these are taken out of the hat is the exact way it will go into the hat. This is the way the balls are going to go into your hands so they'll go that way into the hat. We'll get a close up probably of this a little later. But the 8 ball will go in front of the white ball. Okay. The next thing to go into the hat will be the small wand. And you'll notice that it's small enough to be under the line of site of the hat. And that's important. We'll get to that. So a tall hat is probably the best hat to get. Yes. Okay. Because you need lots of cover when your hand goes inside. Now the last thing, and this is important, is the men's silk. And what I like to do is drape it over the entire hat. And this keeps curious people from looking inside it. Especially kids, right? And this way they can't see what's going to happen. Absolutely. So that's the set up. Once you do that you're ready to go. And we'll talk about how to get into the trick. Okay great. Any things to avoid when you set it up? Well, again, this is something that you want to set up right before you do the trick. You can't leave this out for too long. So keep it to the side. When you're ready to go. Boom. Put it on your table and then you'll be. And so be careful when you move it so things don't shift inside. Yes, you want to double check, it doesn't usually move that much, but always double check before you go. And that's your, that will be your placement. Because that can mess up your trick. Right.
