"So now we're going to learn about the magical gesture. Okay, here's our situation, Grace. Four in the left hand and three in the right hand, with one held back and thumb-palmed. So, if I were just to go, "Okay, there they are." It's not really that good of a magic trick. So what every magician learns, is there has to be a magical gesture of some sort. Obviously, I can't use a wand, so I'm going to do something with my hands, although they're full. What I like to do is I just pretend that one is being tossed up into the air and then I catch one over here. Nice. So you can play around with that and see what works out with your own personality. Some people might just kind of wave the hands over there or maybe they might do a magical sound. I noticed that you added your own into mine. Yes, I went whoop whoop. Okay, and that's fine if the audience, if the spectator wants to add their own, that's fine. It just helps it. But that's very important for the whole magic act and that's part of the entertainment, very important. And it adds a beat, also. Yes it does, sure. And so people have time to digest what's going on. Exactly. And it gives a visual, okay, the coin is being tossed to the other hand. It's all part of theater. So, it's almost like believable. Um-hum. I mean in our heads. Even though we know it's not possible, we kind of believe it. Yes and with the magician, in his mind, that's when the magic happens. So you've got to believe your own magic, that's extremely important. It's very important, it's extremely important. And that's what that's setting that apart and so adding that gesture is when the magic happens, not before. It's almost like acting when you have an agenda. Yes. Your agenda is, okay, this is really happening, boom, boom. Um-hum, um-hum. It went from one hand to the other. Um-hum. Great, so I can't wait to hear the next step. Okay."
