"And now Glenn is going to show us the whole move for the pen trick. Grace now we'll do a recap and remember that this is a move that allows to show writing on both sides of the pen (ok) there's the one side and there's the other. And this is accomplished because the larger movement of the wrist covers the smaller movement of the finger tips. We talked about the proper placement of the pen, that it goes right on that first seam of your index finger and then the thumb goes over the top of that so that you get the perfect rotation exactly one half of a rotation of the pen. The next thing we talked about was the angle. It's going to kind of stretch a little bit right there and we're doing this for the spectators point of view and then bringing it back up like that. It's hard to end also like instead of here, right here, it really takes a lot of practice ( and that's where the practice is going to come). I'm tending to over rotate a little bit. Look at the placement of my thumb, notice that it's not down here. Ok. It's across like that(across, so you leave a little bit of finger like on this side. Yep. And also I feel like I'm pushing it a little bit. Ok. Like I'm just holding it too tight and pushing it to the side. You're probably holding it too tight, you want to relax (ok) your grip on it. Just kind of roll it around your finger like this for a minute ( let it warm up) let it warm up yeah. See I'm clumsy you make it look so easy. That's what that is ok. Now let's see how it looks when you do it. Oh (almost) I ended right there. Almost. Woop, woop, woop. Ok yeah. Amost. You'll get that, that exact half rotation down with a little bit more practice ok."
