"And now my favorite part of the magic trick, the secret. So, how many coins do we need and how do you display them? Okay Grace, the Six Coin Trick is actually done with seven coins, and this is based on the principle of the "one ahead". So as you can see, in my hand I have got not six, but seven coins. Seven right there. But I'll show you how you can display these onto your hands without worrying about that seventh coin. The coins are displayed kind of quickly, and then a stack is taken off, the six coins on top is taken off, and the seventh coin is left behind in finger palm. I'll show you that real quickly. This is left behind, turned over, and these coins are quickly thrown onto the soft felt. You can see that the felt surface is perfect for that as it stops as it stops it from flying off the table. Now, go ahead and hold that into your hand, and you'll see what that feels like. Just place it right there and turn your palm over, there you go. So you have to relax the hand so it doesn't look like I'm holding something here. You relax the hands, exactly. So that's the very first secret that you learn.
