"Hi, you're watching Expert Village. The show is Arts and Crafts and Everything Fun. I am your host Grace Fraga, and my business is Fraga Framing and Art Gallery. Today we're going to learn some tricks of the trade. We are going to learn some magic. So I have a great guest with me today, professional Magician Glenndolph. Hi Glenndolph, how are you doing? Hi Grace, nice to see you. Good to see you. So tell us a little bit about how you got started doing magic. Well it was a little over ten years ago. I walked into a magic shop and I saw a guy make a silk handkerchief disappear in his bare hands and I was hooked every since then. Wow, so did you after that did you start taking classes or read books? What did you do to educate yourself? I went to my local magic shop where I lived and made good friends with the guy who owned it. And we hung out a lot and he taught me a lot of tricks and also pushed me in the right direction. Great and did you go to school, magic school after that, or? I after about five years of practicing really hard, I moved out to L.A. and I went to a very serious school of magic. The Chavez Studio Of Magic. Ooh, wow, so how many years did it take you to graduate? Every, it takes a little bit different time for everybody. I took fifteen months to complete the course. Oh, so what do you recommend to people that want to start doing magic? This is a great way, learning from videos. But reading is the absolute best. I recommend Mark Wilson's "Big Book of Magic". It's a great introduction to magic. Wonderful, thank you. I can't wait. What are we going to do today? We're going to learn a coin trick. A coin trick. So stay tuned. Ooh."
