"Hi, welcome back to Expert Village with art, crafts and everything fun. Today we are learning all about scrap booking specifically how to compose a layout. My guest here Sonya is going to explain now how to compose a single page layout. Correct. We are going to look at really two options. You have the single page spread and you have your double page spread. Now don't let the technical jargon fool you. It is really scrap booking one page or two pages at a time. This is a example of two single page pages. Beautiful! You have the right and the left and they are really fun pages but you can notice what the theme is not the same on each page. You got the really pretty pink paper here and it says "Be mine". Then over here you got something from our scarlet letter collection that is a little bit more bold, dark tones that sort of thing. This is a example of a single page spread the them is not carried on between the two pages. All of these little fun things you can purchase them at any store correct. Absolutely, you get these at the Crop Circle and it is lot of fun. Everything from the paper to the embellishments to the tool, all of that. And people can contact you over the Internet to order and you can ship? Absolutely we can ship anywhere. Fantastic! Absolutely. It is so much fun look at this. Now we are going to look at the pages on the book and this is a double page spread. Let me hold it up for you. Okay! This is a example of a theme that is carried between the two pages. You have the same colors of print paper. You have your same colors of the backing, the same event is happening this is a entire Christmas morning. So you are carrying the theme now between two pages. Okay. That is the first place that you start when you are looking for a layout is maybe a single page or I"m going to think in twos basically. Okay great so decide single or double. Doubled. Sounds like a hotel reservation. Seriously. So what are we going to learn next Sonya? Next, we are going to learn mix matching your papers solids, prints, that sort of thing. Fun so stay tune for that."
