"And today, we're learning all about scrap booking. Specific thing we're learning today is how to compose a lay out. My guest, Sonja Shopert, from the Crop Circle is with us, since she's going to be teaching us about layouts. Now the very first thing you need to decide when you're looking at a layout is what size of scrapbook you're going to working with. There are now 3 basic sizes for your scrapbook. And that is 12 X 12, which is the bigger one. 12 X 12 is your larger size scrapbook. It's one of our best albums at the store. It's a nice cloth fabric cover and it's just really pretty. And you can compose a lot of fun things with this. 12 X 12 is actually going to be the easiest size to scrapbook with because you can get the most on your page, you have the most options, and it?s actually a lot easier for beginners. Many people think that they're going to have an easier time scrap booking with the smaller sizes, and really the larger is your best bet. I would think so, its way more fun! But you do has some other sizes and these sizes are good for: gift albums, if you're doing a gift, or if you just want to scrapbook a one time thing. A one birthday, or a quick trip to somewhere, if you want a small album, this is another great option. Your next size down is going to be the 8 X 8 which is the next album here. This is one of the albums from our really fabulous leather collection. It's beautiful! This is the 8 X 8 and this is the next size down and most of the materials are going to be made for the 12 X 12 album. You are going to have to cut most of your things down, your papers and that sort of thing, but it's still a easy size to work with. Great and you're going to teach us about that later, right? I'll teach you how to do that in the next segment. And this is our last little size, little 6 X 6 baby album, so tiny, but still lots of fun. Great for coffee table or a gift, that sort of thing. Very fun, it's beautiful! So those are the 3 sizes? Those are the 3 sizes. And what are we going to do next? We're going to look at the double page spread next. That's coming up next."
