"Grace: Hi, welcome back to Expert Village. I'm your host, Grace Fraga, with Fraga Framing and Art Gallery. And today we're learning how to salvage your old photo albums, and some methods that can keep your photos acid-free and safe. And with me is my guest, Sonya Shepherd, from The Crop Circle. Sonya: Hi. Grace: Hi. Sonya: Well, Grace, we're going to move on to another element that's both functional for your scrapbook as well as sort of decorative. But they're your old school photo corners. And you can use these on your older photos. And, again, a lot of people want to use photo corners on their older photos because they're photos that they are going to want to take out and maybe share with somebody else at some point, or later on divide up with the family. So, photo corners really make it easy to do that. And what you're doing, the photo corners are adhesive, and your photo is stuck in the photo corner, but your photo is not actually glued down to the page. So it makes it a lot easier to remove those photos and do whatever you need to do with them later on down the road. Grace: And the paper that they use is completely acid-free. Sonya: Completely acid-free. Again, we're going with all photo-safe materials here. Grace: Definitely. Sonya: So that's really, really important. These are your standard size little photo corners. And those are a lot of fun. But you may also find a need to preserve something else that's a little bit more important. And this is Jack McKendall's baseball certificate. Jack is the other son of our store owner, The Crop Circle. There's Ben and Jack, and this is Jack's baseball camp certificate. And we want to use these jumbo photo corners. Grace: Acid-free plastic. Sonya: Acid-free plastic jumbo photo corners--perfect for gift certificates. Grace: Fantastic. So those are two ways to preserve your photos, with these corners--the smaller ones and the bigger ones, the plastic ones. Sonya: Absolutely. Grace: And both are acid-free. And they're available at thecropcircle.net. Sonya: Exactly. thecropcircle.net. Grace: So what's coming up next? Sonya: What's next, we're going to go with the display boxes. Grace: Stay tuned."
