"Welcome back to Expert Village. We are learning all about scrapbooking. And my guest, Sonya Shepherd, is teaching us all about it. All about it. What are you going to teach us now? I'm going to teach you another creative way to do some journaling. We talked about the importance of including written accounts in your scrapbooking. It's very important to connect your own personal history with what's happening in the photos; what's happening in the world around you. Especially when you are looking at some of your older photos. That sort of thing. So I'm going to show you a really quick and easy way to do this. It's called a journaling pocket. It's a little embellishment you can put in your scrapbook that you can tuck in your notes and that sort of thing. Fun. It's really quick and easy. What we're going to do is, we're going to cut... What do we need for this first? Oh. I'm sorry. You need a piece of paper. Ok. Again, your archival paper. This one's really nice because it's double-sided, so it's going to be really fun and easy to work with. This is fun. I like this. It's a lot of fun. And you need the trimmers; just the regular ones. And you need the trimmer; just the basic trimmer. Ok. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to cut six inches. Ok. Just a really quick six inches here. Just like that. I'm going to cut down to eight inches, and I'm going to fold. And you can pretty much fold exactly where you want to go, but I'm going to fold sort of eye-balling about an inch margin. And then you're going to get our your adhesive. We talked about the markers here, the glue pen. I'm going to just quickly, quickly glue... On the inside... Just a little touch.... Just a little bit to make a pocket. Wipe up a little smudge. And that can go right there. And you've got a perfect little place now to tuck something that you would be writing on, just like, in there. Nice. So you can write in your journaling pocket, and that's a perfect place to capture your thoughts and your feelings. That sounds great. What's coming up next? We're just going to wrap things up with a few tips. Nice. That's coming up next."
