"Hi, welcome back to Expert Village! You're watching arts and crafts and everything fun. Today we're learning all about scrapbooking and with me is Sonya Shepherd from the Crop Circle, she's teaching us how to salvage your old photo album. You just taught us how to cut the picture, that's on the page that we couldn't get out with any other tool. You sprayed that mist, the Archival Mist and now you want to test to make sure that the acid is gone or neutralized. Guest Sonya- "We're going to use our PH testing pen, you can get this from us at the Crop Circle and we're just going to do a little swipe on here, it doesn't matter where we do it because we're at the back of this paper. This is going to turn a color, it's turning a little bit orange. The orange will mean it's still a little bit acidic, so we're going to respray and we're gong to test this again. You want this to turn purple and that means that the acid has been neutralized. This is the steps that you go on, back and forth, back and forth until you've gotten the result that you need". Great! And you can get these products at the Crop Circle. "You can get your Archival Mist there as well as your PH testing pen and you can use this pen pretty much for anything that you want to put in your scrapbook, just to test it out and see if it's really acid free." So, check it out at the cropcircle.net. They can contact you at the info@the cropcircle.net and get all the product they need for their scrapbooking, especially for salvaging their old photo albums. So, what's up next? "We're going to look at how to properly record your photo info." Let's stay tuned for that."
