Types of Picture Adhesives for Scrapbooking

"Hi, welcome back to Expert Village. We're learning all about scrapbooking and my guest here Sonja from the Crop Circle, thecropcircle.net is teaching us how to do it. So, what is the next time we're going to learn. Well Grace you need to learn the different types of adhesive that we have for scrapbooking. Because, each different element to scrapbooking requires a different adhesive. We have already talked about the tab dispenser, the tape runner, that's your most general adhesive. That's great for photo's paper that sort of thing. But, there is a few other things you?re going to want to use for different specialty types of adhesive. Your first thing in the one that's the most fun are the pop dots. The pop dots are basically double sided sticky pieces of foam and you can use this to adhere to a paper and the put an element on top like a photo or something and it gives it a little bit of a lift and dimension. It's a lot of fun it's very easy to use they even have mega dots. These are mega dots. You wouldn't want to put these in a scrapbook but there are great for shadow boxes. Again, all are calvo quality. The next thing we have is Vellum dots. Vellum is a see through type of paper. It's very popular for scrapbooking and it's hard to adhere because it's see through. So, we have a see through adhesive it's on a sheet like this and you transfer these on to your vellum and you can adhere without having to marks of the adhesive. Another, adhesive is very similar to the tape dispenser it's from a company called Scrapbook Adhesive. It's called the easy runner. Now, that is a disposable tape dispenser. So, it's just the same as the other tape dispenser but you to chunk it after awhile. So, so the Vario tape dispenser is lot more economically. Like a disposable camera. Yeah, like a disposable camera disposable adhesive. Then we have these great glue pens these are called two way glue pens. That's the jumbo, the chizzle and the fine tip and these are liquid glues. Now, when you first put them down they are going to be a permanent adhesive. They're really strong, they're great for detail work especially the fine tip. But, if you let them dry a little bit they get a little tacky kind of like a post-it note and then you can use it to adhere but not have permanent bond. You can remove it after awhile it's great for poster boards that sort thing. So, to recap we have the little circles, the little 3D dots. These, the mega dots, the disposable dispenser and the 3 different types of glue and don't forget the vellum dots. Let's not forget about that, you can't see them but their there.
