"Hi. Welcome back to Expert Village and today we're learning all about scrapbooking and specifically, embellishing your scrapbook and my guest here is Sonya Shepherd from the Crop Circle. How are you doing, Sonya? I'm good, thanks, how are you? I'm doing great. I can't wait to hear all about the embellishments. Okay. Well, today I've chosen a selection of embellishments from a new line that we carry called "The Creative Cafe" and these are really fun elements. Everything from paper to scrapbooks to embellishments, everything you really need to live a creative life and we're one of only about 200 stores in the United States that received the "Creative Cafe" so we're really excited about it. That's great, and you guys sell these also? Absolutely, we sell the materials, we host happy hour projects every week for $2.00. You can come in, have a really happy hour being creative and it's just a lot of fun. So we're going to just practice with brads right now, these are 2 different styles of brads. You have the glass brads, Grace, and I have the velvet ones so you can just choose one of these out of there. They unfold off the back, these are just sort of like butterfly clips, they come through the packaging and what you are using them for is a decoration but also a functional decoration. They can go through an element like this and actually go through the page and then they're adhered to the page but also they're really lots of fun. Now you don't need a special tool for these. Generally, they'll actually poke through the paper okay on their own so you can give that a try. You can use the paper piercer and you can do this but if you don't have one handy you can generally get the hole started on your own so give it a try. This is a Creative Cafe product. It's designed to sort of mimic old fashioned ledger paper but it's a really great base. Is that going? Okay, sometimes it comes through and sometimes it doesn't and that's okay. So what you can use, is you can use a paper piercer. Be careful because it's kind of sharp, or you can use a thumbtack to start your hole. Any of those things will really do. I'll put one on this side. We're going to sort of build as we go here and see how it turns out. Okay. Those just fan out on the back. Nice, and I love, look how all these papers come with like two sides. It's kind of cool. It really takes the guesswork out of it for you. So, it's nice. And here we've added some dimension but also some functionality and some motion, really. And you can write on these with the acid free pen. You sure could, with the acid free pen. Great, so what are we learning next? Next we are going to go to eyelets. Eyelets are really very simple but they're kind of scary, people are afraid of them. So we're going to try those next. Okay, that's coming up next. Stay tuned."
