"Interviewer: Let's talk about microphone. Grace: Ok Interviewer: Where do you hold the mic? Grace: Very good question, Nili. Interviewer: So you don't blow out the sound. Grace: Exactly. Well, you kind of like listen, of course. But usually, I think that below the chin is good. So if you put it here then they can't see your expressions and that's not cool. Like right here is a good place to put the mic. If you're the kind of comedian that has to use the mic stand usually when you go after like, sometimes I've gone after people that are like...Interviewer: Shorter? Grace: Like this. Ok, (Interviewer: Taller?) Not working. Yeah. Or you know. Like this. Not good. My boobs don't are not funny. Interviewer: So make sure you adjust it? Grace: Right so remember, Lefty Loose, Righty Tighty. Interviewer: Ok. Grace: Ok? Interviewer: Good. Alright then. Grace: That's how I remember. Interview: Because you don't want to spend ten minutes on your mic? Grace: No, because then they ultimately smell your fear. Interviewer: And you lose them. Grace: "I don't, I don't know how to work this." And you know and you're sweating and you can't do it. I've done that before. Interviewer: So practice that? Grace: So you practice, you get comfortable with them. That looks weird. So you know, and then once you get it like below your chin. Then Lefty, there, tighty I don't know. Wait, No. Righty Tighty, Lefty Loose. So you loosen it up, go up and down, what ever and put it here and then tighten it up going to the right. Make sure it's tight. You have to make sure, if not it slides back, it's embarrassing."
