"Where do you get your material from? Life. From life? What if there's nothing very exciting about your life? Then you get it from other peoples life (laughs). You steal (laughs) I wouldn't say steal, you observe how other people behave and how it affects you. Keeping a journal. Keeping a journal. The best things to have are a notebook or a tape recorder. Because when you're driving that's when your ideas just flow for some reason. I get my ideas before I fall asleep. That too, and that's why you should keep like a little notepad by your nightstand. That's what I do. Like aw another good one - and I write it. Then it's like till you go to sleep, you're always thinking. It's torture. The tape recorders great when you’re driving. I call sometimes and leave a message in my voicemail (laughing). Then I don't understand what I was saying (laughing). It happens a lot. It was funny at the moment. Yeah, and then you don't even remember what it was. Because you just leave codes like "funny car". If you're gonna leave messages to yourself, be specific. Don't do it while you're standing in line at the back or you might get arrested for talking to yourself. I crack myself up in public."
