"Hi, I'm Gretchen Soares and welcome to Expert Village. Today we're going to be making soy candles. In this clip we're going to talk about adding decorations or personalizing your container. With a glass container it's fun to paint especially if you're making this with children, they love to paint on the outside of the containers. As long as they're painting on the outside you can use any type of paint you want. If you're putting the paint inside, you'd have to be more careful. That's why I always have them paint on the outside. Also fun to put in are natural rocks, stones, shells, anything that's hard, glass, glass works, rocks work very well. These are really cute in there. Shells from the beach are really good in there. Driftwood not so good since that burns. Anything that doesn't burn especially easily is really fun to put in the bottom of these. So for this one I've chosen these flat stones and we're just going to go ahead and add some to the bottom of the container. Okay, so once we've put these stones in the bottom of the container when we pour the soy, it's going to go around them and look very pretty. Also when it burns it will have an especially nice look to it."
