"Hi, welcome to Expert Village. I'm Gretchen Soores with Butterfly Boutique. The next step is that we are going to make slash marks in this. What you are going to do is you are going to make them about an inch wide. And you just want long nice strait cuts. For those of you who can't eyeball it, its ok to use a piece of chalk and draw little lines on there. But they don't have to be perfect so its ok just to eyeball it and cut it too. Ok, so we're going to do the two non-stretchy sides first. And then we're going to do the stretchy sides, and these are the ones that are a little bit shorter. You want to try to keep these flat, so you don't accidentally cut the tip off one of these when you cutting this side over here."
