"Hi, welcome to Expert Village. I'm Gretchen Soares and today we're going to be making a rag blanket. In this segment we're going to assemble our blocks so we have our squares on both sides. We chosen our pattern so these are all laid out properly, we're going to go ahead and sew them together. Sew across shape design from diagonal to diagonal you can use any stitches but for this we're just using a standard straight stitch. So we have one diagonal and then we're going to come back across the other diagonal. We're going to do this for each block until we have them all sewn together."
