"Hi. Welcome to Expert Village. I am Gretchen Soares with Butterfly Boutique. Now at this point, we are simply stitching the flange on so we have the nice flat area. You can do it with a straight stitch or you can do it with a decorative stitch. Since this fabric has so many fun textures, I am going to go ahead and pick a nice decorative stitch to do it with. We are basically just going to follow the pin line. That is going to be our guide. Now coming up on the corner, we want to make sure that we stitch right up to the pin without stitching on the pin. So this is where we want to slow down and when we stop, we want the needle to be in the down position. Down, then we are going to pivot, remove the pin and head straight for this pin. Gives us a nice corner on our design. Slowing down as we come to the corner. Get right to the place. Needle down and pivot. Okay and as we finish up, we will take and trim our strings. Okay, we can take out our pins that were holding this flap shut in the back. We are ready to insert our pillow. Put it all the way in one side first; making sure to get it all the way in to the corners. Lay it flat and put the flap back. Nice and neat. And we have a fun decorative pillow."
