Face Painting Ideas: Pirate Mustache

"Again, with the same medium-sized brush you're going to want to get a little brown on the tip of it, and now we're going to be creating eyebrows and mustaches. So, for the eyebrows I just like to give a nice old pirate look just by swooping upwards in some crazy pirate eyebrow way. Feel free to make them look as crazy as you want because I'm sure they'll love it. So there's one good brown eyebrow. Now, on the bottom of the face he already has some facial hair, but let's just do it up a little crazier. I will give him a little brown in the middle. Now, with kids you can just make however crazy pirate mustache you want, but I'll just continue his mustache in the way that I usually like to do it by coming down and around in a crazy pirate spiral of a mustache. Now you can start that spiral usually about here and it looks really cool. Just kind of eyeball the other side and it really doesn't matter if it's not symmetrical. Just make it look as best as you can. Now to add onto the beard, I'll usually just paint like this right into the kid's face in a downward-pointed "V", which kind of just creates that rugged pirate flair that we know and love from the movies. There you go; you have a very handsome pirate."
