First of all you have to be aware that you are dealing with chemicals. In chemicals, there are fumes so you need a well ventilated area. What you need to do is first of all when you are dealing with DPG, if at any chance it splashes in your face, you need flushing water. You need to run water in your eyes for a least 15 or 20 minutes because of irritation of the chemicals. If it persists on irritating then you immediately need medical car because the DPG will burn eye tissues. You have to understand that you need goggles, gloves and water just in case of a spill.
