" I am Heather McCanna on behalf of expertvillage.com and today I will be discussing card making basics. Specifically how to fold and create a money card. There are many occasion for given a money card. Such as for graduation, a holiday such as Christmas, or any instance when you need to give someone a gift and you are just not sure what to get them. Money is always a great option and can be use by that person in any way that they chose. The beginning of a money card starts with a sheet of paper usually a rectangular shape paper is best as it folds into a optima shape. We are going to start by making a tri-fold. You roll the card into a tube like shape, into one end of the paper gets to the fold of the other end. At this point you go ahead press down the card which would make a fold on other side. Hopefully the section are fairly equal. As we would be folding it up and using one end as a cover. Once you folded it, unfold it, and undefined the middle section. This is were when you open it up you go ahead and put a message and also the money the most important part. We are going to use our scissors and cut two small slits diagonally across the bottom of the card. These slits would be used to place the corner of the money in. once you have this slits simply pull them up to allow for pockets and find the designated amount of money that you are going to use for the card. For this particular instance I'm going to be using a 20 dollar bill. Lay length wise across the middle of the card and tuck the corners into the pockets that you just made. This makes a easy way to hold the money in place and keep it secure to make sure that the recipient gets all the money that you intended for them to receive. "
