"Hi, I'm Erica Lane with Expert Village talking about how to write a Christmas song on the guitar. When you are finish coming up with or compiling the order of the song the way that you like it in the Christmas or holiday style that you wish to have, what you need to do is actually write the song out in a more finished format. At this point you probably just written it out on scratch paper you need to have it kind of in an orderly less chaotic manner. So either type it or print it very neatly after you have put down your words in the order that they should be verse one, verse two, chorus, verse three, optional verse four go back to chorus, bridge, end on chorus and then don't forget your closing. I just gave you the scenario again about the order that is very basic that you should go through. After all that then you should go to write the letters of the symbols of the chords above each transition to each note during your song. So what you want to do is make sure that each time that you go from one to four to five or from G to C to D, that you put that letter of the chord above every time that you are going to make a transition to a new chord. That goes over the word that you are literally singing during that transition."
