"Hi, I'm Erica Lane with Expert Village talking about how to write a Christmas song on the guitar. Now that you have come up with the ideas, the phrases and the words that you want to use now you actually you need to start constructing your song properly. I'm going to give you an example of how I made some words rhyme and some phrases that I've chose. I wanted to write about St. Nicholas and what he really stood for back when he lived on earth. So I created a song called "Oh St. Nicholas", I incorporated not only physical aspects of St. Nicholas himself. But also mystical aspects and legendary themes that came around since the time that he lived. The first verse goes, oh St. Nicholas your hands are red and ready, your eyes have seen the suffering of young and age in both. Now if you notice there wasn't necessarily any rhyming there but it has a certain flow and a certain timing that you could feel whenever I was reading it. "
