"Hi, I’m Faith and I’m here at Flat Fork Studio and I’m going to show you how to preserve the glue in your caulk gun after you finish tiling a project, or when you are taking a break from your project- how to best preserve your glue gun after it's been in use. The reason we want to try to preserve our caulk is because it will dry up if it’s left to set for very long. So what you do, you’re finished with your project, and what you simply want to do is you want to take a nail you insert it into the tip of the gun. Or you can use a screw or a dowel or whatever scrap material you might have laying around. Then you take a piece of tape- you just tear it- and you just wrap the end like so. And this will preserve your adhesive until the next time you need it. And that is how to preserve the glue in a caulk."
