"Hi! I’m Fran Bricken and today I want to show you how to stamp on vellum. Vellum paper looks like this, its shear, it’s nice to use in your card making, you can use it to cover your card it gives a nice effect to it. What we’re going to do here is stamp this, you can see this is over you can put it over pattern paper or over paper that you’ve already stamped and you want to use a permanent ink to stamp on vellum otherwise it will not dry but you just use your same stamping technique and press down on the vellum and you’ll get a nice look like that, that makes for a nice card. Another thing you can do too is stamping on metal paper that you can buy at a craft store, what you want to do is just stamp in regular ink, stamp down on your metal pad like this, it will leave your inked image and then you can take a stylist and go around the edges and that gives it sort of an embossed look there and this comes with sticky paper you can take that off and put that on a card and it makes for a nice effect. Those are two different techniques you can use with rubber stamping on the vellum and the metal paper that give you two different looks. If you have any questions about these techniques or others please check our website at Lasting Legacy. "
