"Hi! I’m Fran Bricken and I’m going to show you a technique of using water colors and inks to make your background and to stamp with. One technique to use a background is to get your spray bottle and you can get any little spray bottle, you want to mist your paper like that, get some ink pads, you don’t want the permanent ink you want some ink that’s going to bleed a little bit, stamp it around, you can use any colors that you want, you want to mist it a little bit again, this is very messy but it ends up with a really neat look to it, the more it runs the better and you see that’s really wet and soupy, let that kind of run and get that kind of effect. You can also use your paper towel, blotted it a little bit and what you’ll end up with is a card that looks like that, that gives just a really nice water color background effect, this does take some time to dry and it works best on water color paper if you got that. When my paper is real wet I do place it between wax paper and then we’ll put a book on top it so it’ll keep the paper from curling like that but you can make a very nice card out of that using that background and then using any kind of stamp over that, it just gives a really nice visual effect. If you have any questions on that you can contact us at Lasting Legacy on the website. "
