"Hi! I’m Fran Bricken and I’m going to show you how to do rubber stamping using chalk as a technique. You want to take your rubber stamp, you can stamp it this way, I found with the really big stamps sometimes it’s easier to do it like this that way you can make sure you get the entire image covered, place your stamp and stamp it and then you can use chalks they come in many different sizes, color combinations, you can get them at most crafts stores. They’ll come with a little applicator like this and what you want to do is just rub your applicator over that and then just chalk in your image, you can use it also to shade if you wanted it a little bit darker on the end. I’ve also found if you don’t have these, q-tips work pretty well and if all else fails you can use your finger. If you want to get a big area stamped or get the you know sort of a sky like effect you can use a sponge or a cotton ball, go around and do like that, it’s going to give you a little bit of a sky, it’s also good for doing edges you maybe just want to stamp around the edges and give it an effect like that, chalking just gives another look to the card and has a really nice soft sort of pastel effect. If you have any questions you can contact us on our website at Lasting Legacy. "
