You can adjust your tone very much by playing up higher or lower. You can utilize these sounds intentionally. It's best to learn just staying in the middle and making sure that you're bowing in a very parallel line to the lines that you see here drawn by the fingerboard of the instrument and the bridge itself. So you'll notice the parallel looking between these two points here as you're playing."
