"Now I'm going to show you how to prepare a plastic sheet that's going to go between the two pieces of carton that we're using. It's going to cover a, make a cover, for the picture that's going to be placed inside. Now to get the right size, we take the backing of the picture frame, the second piece of cardboard that we made, and we put it over the plastic sheet and we make an outline directly onto the plastic sheet. And the size of the plastic that we cut out is going to be the exact same size as the back of the picture frame. Now the reason why we're using the same size as the back is because when we made the back of the picture frame we left a little bit extra on the, going around the edges, to have it be bigger than the hole that's in the middle of the picture frame. So that same size is going to work for the piece of plastic because when it sits on the back of the first piece of the cardboard on the actual picture frame itself, we're going to need that same border so that it has enough room to stick onto the back of the picture frame. So, the border, if you remember, we left about a quarter of an inch on each side going all around the picture frame. Actually the middle of the picture frame, the hole that we cut, we left a quarter of an inch running over. So, therefore, the piece of plastic is also going to have that quarter of an inch running all the way around. So that is going to be the space that we're going to use to glue it to the back of the picture frame. And then we'll be able to put the cardboard to the back of that, which will create a seal. And the picture will actually go underneath this piece of plastic. So if you're making, if you're using a real picture frame, this piece of plastic would be in place of the glass that is usually covering a picture on a real picture frame. Now, I'm using a very sharp X-acto knife with a straight edge ruler to cut the plastic. It gives me a nice straight cut. But, it can also be done with a scissor. It doesn't matter if the edge becomes a little jagged or it's not exactly, exactly straight because, again, this is going to be glued from behind the picture frame. So now I've shown you how to take the sheet of plastic and size a cover for the picture that's going to be inserted into the picture frame."
