Summary: Decorating your telescope will really make it enjoyable for a child. Learn how to make an upside down telescope in this free crafts video.
"Now our upside telescope is functional. But the project wouldn't be complete if we didn't decorate it and make it attractive so that every child will get real full enjoyment out of using it. So I am going to make some decorations on it using a metallic marker. I chose to make some stars as if we?re going to be gazing at them even though it won?t be strong enough to do that but I am going to decorate it some shapes of stars. And I will go ahead and make some other shapes and markings around it. The metallic marker really makes things stand out so no matter what kind of shapes and images you make it will really look like it was really fully decorated nicely. Now the reason we decorate it is when a child wants to play with it he just wants to feel that it really a special toy that looks really nice and believe it or not it gives a child a lot more enjoyment out of using the telescope. Using the toy. So don't hold back on the decorations. Make it look real nice so that any kid would enjoy playing with it. Now I am not going to decorate the inside of the telescope. The inside tube because what I am going to put on there is some markings as to measure the distance of focusing on different objects. I am going to show you that in the next step. But that is why I purposely left the inner tube without any decorations. So I will go ahead and show you how to make the markings for the distance in our next step. So now I have shown you how to decorate the outside of our telescope to make it a little bit more fun to play with."
