Summary: Fill in the numbers where your inch and foot markings are on you measuring board. Learn how to make a children's height measuring board in this free crafts video.
"So we've made our initial markings onto the measuring board. Now we're going to remove the tape, the masking tape, and also the tape measure and we'll be able to go now and start counting the markings and filling in numbers. I've decided to start the measuring board at thirty six inches so that means it's actually going to be thirty five inches off of the ground and the first marking, one inch up, is going to be thirty six. And then I can go ahead and fill in my numbers all the way up, going to the top of the measuring board. Now, I also have half inch markings in between the numbers of the inches, but I don't need to fill in anything over there, but it's good to see that, if there is any growth, that your child feels like he's making some progress, so to speak, and he feels that he actually sees the results and, therefore he'll be excited about measuring himself the next day. So we go all the way up, writing in the numbers until we get to the top. We want to try and stay as close to the edge as possible because we're going to be making some decorations on the measuring board. So we don't want to take up too much space with just writing in the numbers. So we see we've made it all the way up to sixty three inches, which will give us a lot of room to play with. We can, we'll be able to use this for varying ages of kids, and once our numbers are drawn onto the measuring board, we're ready to start decorating it. So now I've shown you how to fill in the markings on the measuring board and get it ready to be colored and decorated."
