"Now that our screen is made we're going to attach it to the Styrofoam and have it stand upright. In order to do that we're going to need put some, glue some sticks on to the screen. I'm going to be using some wooden skewers that can be picked up at any grocery store. They have a very sharp point at the end. And I'm going to glue them right on to the screen at all of the sides. And this is going to create a strong border so that the paper, the screen doesn't move, it can't bend at all. And then I'm going to put some longer skewers on to the sides where there'll be put into the Styrofoam. So all four sides of the screen are going to have a wooden stick running across them to make it stronger and stand straight once it's put into the Styrofoam. So the first thing I do is put wooden sticks on to the top and the bottom of the screen. And then I'll go ahead and take the longer ones and put them down the sides. And have the sharp points hanging over the edge so that they can be put into the Styrofoam. And this is also the reason why I have my brush to apply the glue along the whole length of the stick. The glue we're using is just plain white glue. It's a craft?s glue or any kind of white school glue will do fine. It also dries clear so because you want everything to have a clean look to it. Being that everyone's going to be starring at the screen. You want the glue dry clear. You don't want to use any type of rubber cement glue which sometimes dries with a brown tint to it. Now we see that the skewers on the side are hanging over a little bit. The part that's hanging over should be the sharp point. Just keep that in mind. Sometimes it's easy to forget when you're gluing the sticks to the screen. So just make sure that it's the sharp point that's hanging over the side. And just give yourself enough space there to have it stick into the Styrofoam and still be strong and sturdy. I have some experience with this project so I know that sometimes the corners can use a little bit of strengthening. So I'm going to apply some clear tape just over where the sticks meet. And that'll just give it a little bit more strength when we stick it inside the Styrofoam. This step is not a must but it's definitely a good thing do to. You'll find as you make this project yourself that the ends can use some reinforcement. The reason is because the stick tends at the end where it's being stuck inside the Styrofoam, the stick tends to peel off the back of the paper. So now I've shown you how to put the wooden sticks on the back of the screen for support. And also to leave the sharp ends over to put them into the Styrofoam so our screen stands up straight. And we're ready to put on the show."
