Summary: The image you draw should take up the entire space of the paper you are using. Learn how to make a reversible picture in this free crafts video.
"The first thing we want to do is start by drawing our picture; one of the pictures that's going to be used for the reversible picture project. Now, it's important to note that when you're drawing your picture, it should take up the entire space of the page. The reason is that for the total effect to take place we wanted to have the entire image spread over the whole page, because the folds are going to be running from top to bottom. Any place that there's no image is just going to show up as blank space. So, if you want the entire effect to take place, going across the entire page, we'll want to have part of the image on that part of the page. This is just going to be wasted space. It will just look like empty white paper. So, we want the image to take up the whole space of the page. Not to scare you away with having to draw freehand, but it's also important to note that you can just print an image out. The paper doesn't have to be blue, it can also be done on white paper, and you could just print out an image from your computer, or you can trace an image. This will also make the project easier if you don't feel confident about drawing an image freehand. One of the nice features about this project that really makes it look nice in the end is the different colors that you use on your image. So, just make sure that when you pick the image that you want to draw, or copy, you pick an image that will look nice when you apply a lot of different colors to it. If you do that, the finished product will look really nice. The main thing about this step is that when you're drawing your image, it should take up the entire page to have the project really turn out the way that it should. So, I've shown you how to take the page, and draw an image on it. If you'd rather, you can just print an image from a computer, or trace an image. Now we've put the image on the paper. The next step will be to color it."
